ABSTRACT
This paper briefly introduced the evaluation systems widely used in hospital informationization,namely that of the EMRAM of HIMSS of the United States,that of the electronic medical record function and application level grading,and that of hospital information interoperability standardization maturity used in China. A comparative study was made on those evaluation systems in terms of their evaluation objective,evaluation content,grading solution,evaluation method and evaluation process etc. It is held that the three evaluation systems are essentially an evaluation of the overall level of hospital informationization, yet each has different emphases and differences, and its rational application can guide and promote hospital informationization.

The present hospital information systems are analyzed,with finding that hospital information isolated island phenomenon getting worse due to failure of interconnection of various systems and equipment vendors with different technologies.An integrated platform based on an enterprise service bus is proposed for hospital information,which can be connected into these heterogeneous systems,effectively minimizing the inter-system coupling,and achieving data and service interconnection,enabling an integrated and intelligent hospital architecture.

Cloud computing is the third technological revolution of IT industry following personal computers and the Internet,which is bound to have a profound impact on hospital informationization.Based on an analysis of the barriers for building the information system in the hospital,we proposed the development and implementation plan of the private cloud.This plan proves the cloud can make server resources more efficient and downsize operating costs significantly.In the end,we discussed the value and perspective of hospital private cloud.

Hospital information system is indispensable for hospital management,and its evaluation indexes system serves as the cornerstone for evaluation of hospital informationization.Basic evaluation indexes for hospital informationization were earmarked objectively as well as quantitatively and qualitatively,based on expert opinions.The evaluation indexes of hospital informationization consists of six dimensions and 23 secondary indexes.The paper described in detail the data makeup for reference of building the evaluation indexes system of hospital informationization.
